Our first experience at the Mirabelle Guesthouse and definitely not the last one!! It was fantastic! Very luxurious and comfortable rooms, a lovely breakfast, nice pool, nothing to complain about. Thank you Bradley, Peter and the rest of your staff for making our stay unforgettable! Hopefully see you soon again!

A lovely location. Perfect walking distance to the main street. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and delightful. The hostess was so sweet and offered to iron my evening dress for an event I was going to. Nothing was too mucn to ask. Would defintely stay there again.

What more could you want in Franschhoek? A beautiful, peaceful guesthouse with absolutely stunning views, right in the heart of Franschhoek and close to the main road. Eating and drinking calls for a bit of movement, and walking is easy and perfectly safe; it only takes about 10–15 minutes to reach the main road. Believe me, a three-day stay here is far too short. The guesthouse staff are extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The breakfast is delicious and full of flavor. The well-stocked self-service Honesty Bar is an excellent feature. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Many thanks!

This was the fourth time that we have visited Franschhoek and Mirabelle was our best experience to date. Bradley was a "star" when I found that my passport and driving licence had been retained by Europcar in offering to go to the airport to retrieve them for me- this was above and beyond for most but he explained that this was all part of the service!! When we are next fortunate enough to visit Franschhoek Mirabelle will be the first accommodation we will think of.

We had a fantastic stay at Mirabelle. The views of the mountains were stunning, and breakfast was delicious, enjoyed outside on the patio overlooking the pool.
The pool area itself was beautiful, and the poolside menu made for a perfect afternoon treat.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Plus, it’s just a short distance from the village, making it easy to explore Franschhoek. Highly recommend this peaceful and welcoming spot!

We only left 24 hours ago and are already longing to return! After visiting Franschhoek twice before for short stays, we decided it was time to stay longer in this beautiful town and booked Mirabelle for our six-day visit.

We absolutely loved the guesthouse. It has such a relaxed, serene atmosphere and offers spectacular views of the mountains surrounding the town. It’s the perfect base whether you want to spend a lazy day by the pool enjoying the scenery or explore everything Franschhoek has to offer.

Our room (No. 7) truly felt like a home away from home—fresh, spotless, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Breakfast, with both continental and cooked options, was consistently delicious. The Shakshuka Toast and the All-In Omelette were particular favourites!

The town is about a 10–15 minute walk away, and we always felt very safe walking to and from the guesthouse. If you prefer not to walk, Uber works well and a taxi into town costs around ZAR 50.

If you feel like a quiet evening in, several excellent restaurants in town offer takeaway or delivery. The well-stocked Honesty Bar at the guesthouse is also a lovely touch and really adds to the homely atmosphere.

Finally, a big shout-out to all the staff who made our stay so memorable, nothing was ever too much trouble. Before we left, we were lucky enough to try the new poolside menu that will soon be introduced at the lodge, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious, but the mini samosas with dipping sauce were especially amazing.

It was truly difficult to leave, and we honestly can’t wait to return.

We had an excellent stay at Mirabelle. Great welcome by the staff and a very nice breakfast completed our stay. The views of the mountains are just splendid, and we would definitely recommend spending one or more nights here
