Beautiful property and very hospital host and staff

We stayed here on a Saturday night in February. The welcome was friendly and we able to drop our bags and head out for some wine tasting before checking in. We were in the back courtyard room which was very spacious, spotless, with a large king bed. The bathroom is very large and had everything that we needed. Our only issue was that our international (European) plugs did not work here, but we were able to charge our things at breakfast with an adaptor provided by the hotel. As the guest house is located about 1km from the main street of Franschhoek, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was a very good: we did not try any of the hot dishes as the cereals, fruit, breads and jam were more than sufficient for us. Very friendly, engaging staff. A good choice for our Franschhoek stay.
