Booking Terms and Conditions

Included in the Bed and Breakfast Rate

•  All rates are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT.

•  Breakfast served each morning in the breakfast area from 08:00 – 10:00.

•  Use of the guest lounges, swimming pool, and garden.

•  Complimentary parking.

Dinner

Guests are kindly encouraged to make restaurant reservations in advance while visiting Franschhoek. Dinner is not served at the guesthouse. 

Check-In

Check-in is available from 14:00 – 18:00 daily.

Guests arriving later than 18:00 are requested to notify the guesthouse in advance to arrange a late check-in time.

Check-Out

Check-out on the day of departure is 11:00.

Late check-outs are subject to availability and will be charged as follows:

• Untill 15:00: 50% of the daily room rate

•  After 15:00: Full night’s stay

Reception

Reception closes at 19:00 in summer and 18:00 in winter. A manager is on call after these hours if required.

Deposit Policy

• 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.

• The remaining balance is payable at check-out, unless otherwise arranged.

• Bookings made within 21 days of arrival require full payment upon confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

21-Day Cancellation Rate:

• Cancellations made 21 days or more before arrival will receive a refund less a 5% administration and handling fee.

• Cancellations made 0–21 days before arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee for the entire stay.

• No-shows will be charged 100% of the total reservation value.

Non-Refundable Rate:

• Cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the total reservation value.

House Rules

• The guesthouse is adults only (18 years and older).

• No pets are allowed on the property.

• The guesthouse is a non-smoking establishment.

• Guests are requested to be courteous and keep noise levels to a minimum.

• The public area of the Guest House is monitored by CCTV cameras linked to our armed security service provider 24 hours a day.

• Parking is available off street in two separated parking areas as well as on the pavement immediately in front of the Guest House. Parking is at the guest’s own risk and we request that you do not leave any items in the vehicle which can be visible from the outside.

• Narcotics are strictly prohibited and lewd or indecent behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Management reserves the right of admission.

Liability

Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to the guesthouse property during their stay. The guesthouse cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
